Here are some quick and simple tips to keep your lawn in top shape this fall: ### 1. Raking Leaves: Embrace the fall tradition of raking leaves, not just for aesthetic reasons but also for the health of your lawn. Even a thin layer of leaves can smother your grass, preventing sunlight and essential nutrients from reaching it.  ### 2. Continue to Mow: Keep up with lawn mowing until the end of the growing season, which typically coincides with Halloween on Long Island. Towards the end, you may find that mowing every other week is sufficient. ### 3.
