Lawn Pro Foundations
Our mission for the Foundation Plan is to provide the essential soil science and professional fertilization required to build a thick, resilient, and vibrant green lawn from the roots up.
Early Spring: Preventative Shield & Color
We initiate the season with slow-release nitrogen for immediate, lasting color. This phase includes a critical pre-emergent barrier to stop crabgrass before it starts, alongside targeted broadleaf weed control.
Late Spring: Deep Green Reinforcement
A balanced, iron-rich application designed to deepen the "dark green" aesthetic while maintaining a secondary strike against late-germinating broadleaf weeds.
Summer Phase A: High-Heat Nutrient Support
We transition to a specialized slow-release summer fertilizer. Infused with iron for consistent color through high-heat stress, this application includes targeted treatments to eliminate any remaining broadleaf or grassy vegetation.
Summer Phase B: Allectus Insect Guard
This critical defensive phase provides season-long control of both surface-level pests (chinch bugs) and sub-surface threats (grubs). We utilize Talstar & Merit to ensure your lawn’s root system remains protected during the peak of insect activity.
Late Summer: Recovery & Restoration
Focus shifts to repairing summer heat stress. We apply a specialized root-development formula to strengthen the turf's foundation while clearing any remaining unwanted vegetation.
Fall Phase A: Winterization & Root Development
Our winterizing fertilizer helps lawns develop the massive root system required to survive long, cold winters. This application is the "insurance policy" for a healthy, early spring green-up.
Fall Phase B: Soil Balance & pH Correction (Solu-Cal)
We utilize Solu-Cal pelletized limestone, which is four times more effective than traditional lime. This technical application balances soil pH and delivers essential micronutrients, ensuring the soil is chemically optimized for next year's growing season.
Fungus & Nutsedge Add-Ons
A great fertilizer program still leaves two gaps. These optional add-ons sit on top of Foundations and close them.
Fungus Preventative
3 applications · alongside Rounds 2, 3 and 4
Long Island's humid summers create ideal conditions for fungus outbreaks. This program stops them before they show, instead of treating the damage after it appears.
Nutsedge Curative
Treated in Round 3 · follow-up as needed
Nutsedge is a persistent, grass-like weed that regular weed control doesn't fully touch. It's treated in Round 3 and monitored afterward, with a targeted follow-up if it persists.
